Praveena Prabhakaran,Indian Born in Libya, North Africa

(1992), She is a self-taught emerging artist based in India. In the early days of her childhood it was very important to fill her home with objects that would make them happy at home, that is why I began to create art and to dress hers with the colors that she loves. She initiates her first true experience as an artist occurred during a very charged and traumatic time.

Although dealing with loss can be a deeply personal experience, losing her in her art helped her get through the grieving process in much the same way as therapy or meditation. Art can have a tremendous effect on our emotional well-being and we are enormously passionate about how art can uplift and inspire.

Prabhakaran, she has worked in different mediums including acrylic, oil, watercolor, gouache, graphite ,pastels and ball pen and in different styles including abstract, landscape, contemporary, realism, and expressionism. She is inspired by nature, wildlife, colors and all the beauty in the world. She has a true passion for realistic art, which remains the focus of her current work.

She works mainly with acrylics, oil ,pencil ,gouache,oil pastels,watercolor.
